Scrapbooking Weekend

On the weekend I went to a scrapbooking camp. It was a seriously great weekend. I mean, what’s not to love about going off and just doing something fun for 2 days. Not having to cook or clean, just scrapbook, eat and sleep!

I got stuck into our Europe holiday, and have no completed 1 out of 4 weeks! I’ve been talking with Luke, and we’ve decided that I can asign one afternoon a week to devote to scrapbooking, so that hopefully I get it done soon! We are, after all, fast approaching one year since this holiday (man, time flies!).

Now, I know this isn’t a scrapbooking blog, but I thought I would show you one of my favoruite pages. Remember I had mentioned about using more embellisments, and ‘indulging’ a bit more and making my scrapbooking pages look more fantastic? Well, I did that! This is a page where I went a bit  all out and really got stuck into a nice clump of embellishments on the side!

A technique I see a lot of on the scrapbooking blogs I read is sewing onto the pages.

I have a Cricut machine that cuts out shapes/letters etc. for me. The only problem with it is that if you use a thin font, it can be really difficult to use sticky dots etc. to stick them on. I inevitably get glue all over my fingers, and dirty marks on my pages! So I decided to just sew the letters on! I think it’s quite a nice look. What do you think?
