So, here are my layout for the 4×6 photo love challenge over at Two Peas, and Shimelle.com. I really enjoyed doing these interactive layouts. Turns out that most of my photos are landscape, which is why I did my concertina photo displays on the side. But I quite like the look.
I specifically bought this paper “Falling Snow” by Fancy Pants Designs for the snow pictures, and what’s more snowy and fitting then the swiss alps?! So that’s why I kept the extra papers and embellishments to a minimum. Though Luke thinks I have too many embellishments on this page *sigh*.
We also had SO many photos from this adventure, that the four pages for it (page one is here), then the two pages in the concertina style, then another grid page which I’ll show soon. Hence there being no title for this page- it was at the start of this set.
One of my favourite parts of these layouts is how i’ve used the pink paper. I always keep my papers ‘themed’ which usually ends up with quite boring colours, but I’m trying to break away and use prettier papers all the time! I also used these cute heart travel cut outs from onecrafteemumma to indicate that you have to lift up the photos.
If you’re interested, here are the supplies I used:
“MT PILATUS” (page 2 or 4- Talia)
Fancy Pants Designs – Tradition Collection “Falling Snow”
Prima Annalee Collection “Ashton”
Crate Paper “Restoration” Chipboard accents
Kaisercraft Homemade collection Heart Ribbon
