I’ve always been really facinated with scrapbooking BIGGER photos, but have never really done it. I guess it’s the cheap skape in me- why pay a few dollars for a big photo, when the regular size ones are only 15 cents! Anyway, I finally splurged on one that I thought I would only have the one photo of, just as an experiment.
Well, it’s been sitting in my pile of photos of months now, and I finally decided to just scrap it, even though I usually scrapbook in order and this time period won’t be scrapped for quite a while! Anyway, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, though it is very… plain. What are your thoughts? I have certainly not mastered the art of embellishment yet. All my pages are very simple. Maybe this is just part of my ‘style’?
I used papers and stickers from the Basic Grey “Sweet Threads” collection. I love the papers, but rarely use them because they’re so strong. I think the BIG picture can handle the bright patterned paper though.
I also chose to handwrite the title in a white pen. I tried a few letter stickers, but none were clear enough against the paper, and I don’t have any pale letter stickers. I wasn’t in the mood to cut letters out with my cricut, so just settledĀ on some handwriting. Am I the only one who cringes at their own handwriting? I have a friend who has the most beautiful handwriting, and I am green with envy…
Glitter girl was my inspiration for randomly scrapping this photo today. If you don’t follow the series, then get onto it! It’s lots of fun!

Journalling: Four friends taking photos in the back yard. Who would have thought just a few years later Aaron & Rachel would be married, and so would Luke & Talia!

I think it’s cute! I love enlargements, and I tend to get everything printed large, and then I end up with a bunch of photo’s I can’t really do anything with!
