Woo! I’m up to Rome in our Europe scrapbook! This was on my first pages I did with a really BIG photo. 12×8 to be exact. I thought this would be a perfect photo as an introduction to this wonderful city. Once I’d finished this double page spread I wished I’d done this at the beginning of the album for all the cities!
With this layout, I tried to keep things kinda simple. I used some Ormolu embellishments, because they’d been sitting in my stash for AGES now (I guess I’d been saving them for a camping style layout, which will probably never happen!!), and I need to embrace using embellishments that aren’t PERFECT.
I used my typical grid layout, which turns up a lot in my travel albums, just becuase I need to fit in lots of photos, and these do the job.
In the album, after this double page spread, there’s another double page. The first page is below. It actually continues on from the double page above, in that it too is about sightseeing in Rome. I’m not sure if I need to share the story of the day here or not. What do you think?
The page opposite this one uses the same background paper, and is sightseeing, but is about a specific place we visited, so it has it’s own page, and is designed seperately. I will share it tomorrow.
Do you think I need to do some journalling on the page below?
